Why not take part in our free Christmas Lights Competition and light up Copthorne and Crawley Down this Christmas?
Decorate the outside of your house this Christmas and you could win a cash prize!
The competition is open to all residents of Copthorne and Crawley Down and is free to enter. There is a £50 cash prize for the best house in Copthorne and £50 cash prize for the best house in Crawley Down. There is a £25 cash prize for the runner up in both villages.

Worth Parish Councillors will make up the judging panel and will come and judge houses on Tuesday 20 December using the criteria below. The winner and runner up will be notified directly on Wednesday 21 December.
Displays will be judged on the following criteria, with a maximum of 30 points available: First Impression - Scored out of 10, Originality - Scored out of 10, Creativity - Scored out of 10 (Environmental considerations including recycling and energy conservation will be taken into account)
General Rules of Entry
• Only one entry per house/address
• All displays must be visible from the road
• Worth Parish Councillors and staff are not eligible to enter
• The address for the display must be residential; businesses are not eligible to enter
• Prizes will be paid in cash, direct to the winner/runner up when a photograph will also be taken
• By entering the competition, you agree to have your photograph and details used for publicity purposes
• The judges’ decision is final
