Councillor Philp Coote was recently invited to attend the topping-out ceremony for the Francis Court Care Home in Borers Arms Road, Copthorne. Along with Care UK's Janine Eckelt, he helped to lay the final tile on the roof to mark the completion of the external build, before taking the time to chat with the team about the home's future plans.
Councillor Coote said: “It was an honour to represent Worth Parish Council and its community at Francis Court’s topping out ceremony.
“The opportunity to learn more about the internal design plans from the team only added to the excitement around its reopening this winter. I look forward to seeing Francis Court finished and it will no doubt provide essential caring accommodation for the surrounding area.”
Once complete, the multimillion-pound purpose-built care home will provide residential, dementia and compassionate end of life care for up to 78 people, with facilities including a cinema, hair and beauty salon and café.
