𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐔𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭

We have sadly suffered another theft from the Recreation Ground project overnight. This time, 18 heavy-duty track mats measuring 8ft by 4ft were stolen.

These mats were going to be used to protect the newly laid tarmac from being damaged by lorries and construction equipment.

They were carried across the site and slid under the front gate, which would have taken some time and almost certainly required a large vehicle.

We would be grateful if local residents could let us know if they see anyone on site before 8:00am or after 5:00pm on weekdays, or at any time during the weekend.

There are no contractors authorised to work outside these hours. Therefore, even if anyone is seen wearing high-visibility clothing or driving builders' vans, pick-ups or other work vehicles, please contact our Project Manager on (01342) 718827 or call the police immediately.
