Damaged Tree Removal

Following a recent inspection, it was found that two trees on Copthorne Village Green need to be felled. Both trees have unfortunately developed significant splits at their bases, which has made them unstable and at risk of falling.

The safety of residents and visitors is our priority, and the decision to remove the trees has been taken on professional advice to prevent the risk of injury or damage.

We understand that the loss of mature trees is disappointing, but this action is necessary to ensure the Village Green remains a safe place for everyone to enjoy. The Parish Council will consider suitable replacement planting as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing our green spaces.
